FIST Africa Distributes Food Items and Sanitary Wares to Widows in Mpape Community

FIST Africa distributes food items and sanitary wares to women, most of whom are widows in Mpape Community, a suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.

This outreach is part of the organisation’s social and community intervention programme that is targeted at the vulnerable population in mostly underserved communities.

This project is part of the organisation’s efforts at addressing the problem of hunger, which is the second goal of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The package the women received included food items, beverages, toiletries and some also got cash.
